2018 Mazda3 | Review

The Mazda3 is one of Mazda’s best-selling vehicles, and rightfully so. The 2018 model was named “Best Small Car in Canada” by the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) and it’s easy to see why.

Mazda introduced G-Vectoring Control in 2017 and all 2018 Mazda3s come equipped with this technology. G-Vectoring Control has definitely refined the driving experience and propelled the Mazda3 to the top of the list for best compact sedans.

The Mazda3 is available with a 2.0L or a 2.5L inline-four and it is a fuel-efficient sedan that gets 8.4 L/100 KM in the city and 6.4 L/100 KM on the highway.

The 50th Anniversary model is only available with a 6-speed automatic transmission (FWD) but Mazda does offer a 6-speed manual with the GX, GS, and GT trims.

In our review, we take the Mazda3 for a test drive and have a look at some of the features available on the 50th Anniversary Edition model, which is most akin to the Mazda3 GS.
