3-Day / 300-km Exchange Guarantee

Legal Disclaimer
Dilawri’s 3-Day / 300-km Exchange Guarantee begins the day the purchasing customer (“the Customer”) takes delivery of the vehicle (Day 1), regardless of the time of day, and ends on the third business day (Day 3) or at 300 kms, whichever comes first. The guarantee allows the Customer to exchange the vehicle at the selling dealership for any reason during this time. The selling dealership must be informed of the exchange prior to the dealership closing on Day 3 (weekends and holidays included). The dealership will not accept an exchange if the car has been modified, damaged, in an accident, altered from the condition in which it was delivered, or submitted as a security for a loan (encumbrance). Added equipment and/or services are non-refundable. Only the original vehicle is eligible for exchange; the second vehicle (received on exchange) is ineligible. The Customer is responsible for any difference in price, fees and other costs associated with the second vehicle.

1 Year of No-Charge Roadside Assistance

One year of no-charge roadside assistance takes effect the day the purchasing customer (“the Customer”) takes delivery of the vehicle, regardless of the time of day, and ends at 11:59 PM 364 days later (e.g., January 1, 2023-December 31, 2023). Within the term, no-charge roadside assistance coverage applies only to the Customer and the Dilawri Certified vehicle that was registered at the start of ownership. It is not transferable and cannot be lent to someone else or applied to another vehicle. Services include towing and emergency towing services, winching, lockout service, boost service, gas delivery, and tire change. Service is provided by the Assistance Service Group (hereafter "ASG"). Additional details are available below.

Towing & Emergency Towing Services

  • Please note that the vehicle must be towed to the closest Dilawri dealer or the dealer of choice, up to 25 km from the point of breakdown. If the desired destination is greater than 25 km, the Customer will be charged on an additional per-km basis.
  • Medium- and heavy-duty tows are authorized on a fee-for-service basis only.
  • The Customer is covered for the cost of dollies or flatbed, if required.
  • All AWD models will be towed on a flatdeck.
  • ASG will offer courtesy dispatches for extenuating circumstances (e.g., multiple passengers, trailers, overnight storage, etc.).
  • ASG will cover wait time and negotiate payment for toll highways, ferry crossings, etc.
  • NB: Customers who paid up front are only eligible for reimbursement up to $100 if they are able to prove ASG, for some unforeseen reason, could not provide the service. ASG must be contacted first and be provided with a valid claim number.

Winching

  • Winch recovery from ditches and most situations, providing all possible snow-shovelling and/or other options have been exhausted.
  • The vehicle must be able to proceed under its own power after winching, otherwise it will be considered an accident and all coverage will be fee-for-service.
  • Where required, ASG will provide second trucks for serious cases and will cover wait times.
  • NB: Customers who paid up front are only eligible for reimbursement up to $100 if they are able to prove ASG, for some unforeseen reason, could not provide the service. ASG must be contacted first and be provided with a valid claim number.

Lockout Service

  • ASG will dispatch and authorize a qualified supplier to unlock the Customer’s vehicle.
  • If locks are frozen, ASG will dispatch a tow to deliver the vehicle to a warm destination (of the Customer’s choosing) in order for the locks to thaw.
  • Key codes and lost key services are not covered under the Roadside Assistance policy.
  • NB: Customers who paid up front are only eligible for reimbursement up to $100 if they are able to prove ASG, for some unforeseen reason, could not provide the service. ASG must be contacted first and be provided with a valid claim number.

Boost Service

  • ASG will dispatch an authorized and qualified supplier to boost the Customer’s vehicle.
  • Contracted suppliers will have the ability to service vehicles which are underground or otherwise difficult to access (e.g., in private garages, etc.).
  • NB: Customers who paid up front are only eligible for reimbursement up to $100 if they are able to prove ASG, for some unforeseen reason, could not provide the service. ASG must be contacted first and be provided with a valid claim number.

Gas Delivery & Electric Vehicle

  • ASG will dispatch an authorized and qualified supplier to provide five litres of regular-grade fuel (included) for the Customer’s affected vehicle.
  • Members may request other grades of fuel, if required by their vehicles.
  • Electric vehicles can be towed to the nearest charging station, under terms of the towing coverage described above.
  • NB: Customers who paid up front are only eligible for reimbursement up to $100 if they are able to prove ASG, for some unforeseen reason, could not provide the service. ASG must be contacted first and be provided with a valid claim number.

Tire Change

  • ASG will dispatch an authorized and qualified supplier to mount the spare tire.
  • Customers may request compressed air, should they wish to drive on their own recognizance to a nearby repair facility (NB: not all contractors are suitably equipped).
  • In the event there is no spare, or a locking lug-nut key is missing, ASG will authorize a tow to the nearest authorized Dilawri dealership, or to an appropriate tire centre if a Dilawri dealer is more than 25 km away or not open at the time of need.

90-Day / 5,000-Km Powertrain Warranty

The coverage associated with this warranty expire either at 90 days or 5,000 kms, whichever occurs first. A detailed list of covered and excluded components within the Powertrain Warranty is provided below.

Inclusions
Engine
Cylinder block, cylinder head, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, timing gears, timing chain/belt (except required maintenance interval replacements), timing chain tensioners, timing belt tensioner, flywheel, serpentine belt tensioner, oil pump/oil pump housing, water pump, harmonic balancer, OHC carriers, valves and valve covers, engine mounts, diesel fuel injection pump, diesel vacuum pump.

Turbocharger / Supercharger
Housing and all internal parts, blow-out valves, intercooler./p>

Transmission
Transmission case and all internal parts, input shaft, master clutch cylinder, torque converter, vacuum modulator, transmission mounts.

Drive Axle
Final drive housing, drive axle case and all internally lubricated parts, differential cover, axle shaft, drive shaft, drive shaft universal joint, hub assembly (excludes antilock brake system), tapered wheel bearings, locking hubs, constant velocity joints, four-wheel drive actuator-CV boot.

Exclusions
Check engine lights, when unrelated to the 90-day protection. Normal wear and tear items including, but not limited to: throttle body, batteries, battery cables, zippers, windshield wiper arms, headlamp, tail lamp and projection lamp assemblies, circuit breakers, cup holders, ashtrays, dash pads, seat frames, convertible tops, inside and outside door handles and hinges, shock absorbers, MacPherson strut assembly (including upper mount and bearings), pipes / hoses / lines / rubber brake hoses (except power-steering pressure hose, steel air conditioning lines, and steel brake lines), bolts, nuts, fasteners, standard transmission clutch assembly, manual clutch disc / pressure plate and bushings / bearings, manual and hydraulic linkages, secondary ignition components, safety restraint systems (including air bags and air bag igniters), glass (including mirror assemblies and heated windshields), lenses, sealed beams, light bulbs, fuses, cellular phones / hands-free units, night vision, brake rotors and drums, exhaust and emission systems, catalytic converter, weather strips, run channels, trim, mouldings, bright metal, chrome, upholstery and carpet, paint, outside ornamentation, bumpers, body sheet metal and panels, frame and structural body parts, tires, wheels and rims, wheel alignment, wind noise, squeaks and rattles, lost keys, lost headset units or water leaks, electronic sensors, modules and on board computers. Any item or diagnostic not specified under the “Limited Powertrain” warranty sections.

Access to Special Rates

Offer provided through Dilawri Leasing™ on approved credit. An up to 0.25% rate reduction is available on Dilawri Certified pre-owned vehicles only. The customer will receive a 0.25% reduction on lease or finance rates currently available through Dilawri Leasing, to a minimum of 0% APR. Some conditions apply.
