The standard option is a 3.6-litre V6 mild hybrid pushing out 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque, with an extra 90 lb-ft available on engine restart. This configuration is already impressive enough, but there's also a 5.7-litre V8 option that generates 395 horsepower, 410 lb-ft, and an extra 130 lb-ft on launch. If that V8 isn’t exhilarating enough, at the top of the range there's a powerful 6.2-litre supercharged V8 available, boasting hugely impressive output figures of 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft. Rear-wheel drive is standard at the lower end of the Ram 1500 range, with all-wheel drive as an option, although higher trims add all-wheel drive as the default. All 2023 Ram 1500 models’ powertrains are completed by a smooth, eight-speed automatic transmission, with selectable drive modes and manual paddle control available at higher trim levels.
Excellent Capability
The raw engine power translates into exceptional capability, with maximum towing capacities sitting at the very top of the market. Even the base V6 model can haul up to 7,458 pounds with the all-wheel drive version, while the heftier 5.7-litre V8 ups the figure to 11,409 pounds. If you need a pickup that’s as capable on the worksite as it is comfortable on the road, the 2023 Ram 1500 is an excellent choice.
Market-Leading Interior
Climb behind the 1500’s wheel and you'll be struck by the lavish comfort of its interior. On higher trims, you can expect a 12-inch digital instrument cluster with extensive customization options. While base models offer an 8.4-inch infotainment touchscreen, higher trims offer a 12-inch version. The advanced infotainment technology is backed by interior features including genuine leather and wood materials on higher trims, delivering a pickup experience with all the comfort of a premium SUV.
2023 Ram 1500 Pricing

The mainstream 1500 range tops out with the Limited trim at $86,340, while the high-powered TRX with its supercharged engine is available from $111,290.
