What's New for 2023?
For 2023, the X1 was slimmed down to include a single trim. Its exterior has been enhanced with slightly larger dimensions and a bolder front end, creating a powerfully dynamic appearance with plenty of road presence. The X1’s interior gained extra tech features, as well, and its powertrain has been upgraded to deliver higher performance.
Powertrain and Performance
The 2023 X1's engine has been redesigned and retuned to offer a welcome boost in power compared to the previous model. Its 2.0L four-cylinder turbo engine delivers 241 horsepower, ample output for a compact SUV, and is capable of propelling the X1 from 0-100 km/h in just 6.4 seconds.
To handle the extra performance, the SUV’s standard transmission has been upgraded from an eight-speed to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic design, with the older transmission still available as an option. All-wheel drive is now standard, as the previous front-wheel drive powertrain was dropped from the 2023 lineup.
High-End Interior and Infotainment
